The "Why?"

Writing 60 at UCI:
Animal Research and Argument

What is Writing 60? This spring, I am participating in a research and science communication class about animals, and have specifically chosen to study about the corvids species. This page will include my Scicomm Article, Literature Review, and Advocacy Essay. The main animal I focus on in all of these projects is the crow, which is an animal that is a lot smarter than many believe!

About Alicia Kim

I am passionate about animal research and the corvidae species, especially because of Jonathan Marzluff's research on crows and Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 film. My goal is to bridge the gap between findings on harmful pesticides and public awareness, advocating for the protection of crows.
